This time, it’s Spring 2019! I literally cannot walk past this store without a quick stop inside.
I leave with several photos that I can’t wait to share & sometimes a few small purchases as well.

What better way to entertain than having some conversation pieces on display.

Pictured below is my very own collection of handmade pottery inspired by one too many visits to ABC Carpet & Home.
I put my creative energy to work at a Hand Building Pottery class which is much easier than the wheel in my opinion.
~
Also pictured below are my Shibori Hand Dyed Napkins. This is a technique I picked up in a workshop at the Brooklyn Craft Company in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

If you aren’t into creating your own pieces then keep an eye out for cool vintage dishware & glassware during your Thrift Shop or Flea Market trips.
I scored the collection below at the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market here in NYC. I think the best part is that they were all different instead of a complete set.

You can see there is a mix and match theme going here. Perfection is overrated.

There are numerous sources of inspiration for me when it comes to Decor & Fashion and "ABC Carpet & Home" is a great source to kick off this page.
I can spend hours browsing this multi-floor showroom in New York City and snapping pictures along the way.
You aren't necessarily snagging a "deal" here but the pieces and displays are just so beautiful you can lose yourself in what appears to be your own little wonderland.
Window shopping at its best!

188 Galerie

"188 Galerie" is a boutique featuring gorgeous paper products and gifts from around the world. They sell handmade papers, gift wrap sheets, ribbons, packaging, greeting cards, journals and fine stationery. In addition, they regularly feature the work of artists whose inspiration has come from paper and its variety of different forms. I was inspired by the framed paper art on the right so I purchased a sheet and had it framed in a reclaimed wooden frame that I picked up at Brimfield Antique Market.
