Things to know:  (1) US Customs and Immigration pre-clearance is done in Bermuda prior to boarding your flight home. Which means you don't have to worry about the hassle of customs upon arrival in the US. A nice change from your typical international arrival. (2) U.S. currency is generally accepted in shops, restaurants, and hotels. Keep in mind if you do need to get cash from an ATM machine, they only dispense the Bermuda dollar (BMD). (3) Tourists aren't allowed to rent cars in Bermuda so taxis and scooters are your best bet for getting around. There are ferries as well depending on where you are. (4) Best time to visit is during the summer months (June through September) with June, July & August being the most popular and expensive months.
