Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives! Upon arrival, we experienced one of the many perks of staying at this resort which was the quick 15 minute speedboat transfer from Male airport. We were welcomed by a team of smiling faces, live drums and welcome beads reminiscent of a Fantasy Island arrival! Immediately whisked away on a golf cart to our Deluxe Lagoon Villa with butler service. Our villa overlooked the lagoon with a private sundeck & freshwater plunge pool. Direct access to the lagoon was a step ladder away where you can swim and snorkel in the crystal clear water. The Maldives provided some of the best snorkeling I've ever experienced!
While the resort was at full capacity, we still managed to feel like we were on our own private romantic island. The top notch service of the Taj Exotica Maldives began prior to our arrival with close attention to details once my booking was confirmed, making for a smooth and stress free stay.
It didn't matter where you were on the island, it felt like the SUN was always within arms reach.

Before heading back home we spent a few days in Dubai and were fortunate enough to stay at the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah! Three words pretty much sum it up - "Over the Top"!
Sand Dune Driving (think roller coaster on the sand)... When your tour guide tells you to jump off the dune for the "perfect shot" and you think this is beyond silly. But then you end up loving the shot because it puts a smile on your face every time you look at it!..... Always capturing those sunset shots, this time in the Desert.... Dinner and late night entertainment in the desert wrapped up the day!
